About Me
Interpersonal Neurobiology is an exciting field, and I am so pleased to have been a co-creator of The Global Association for Interpersonal Neurobiology with Bonnie Badenoch PhD. I enjoy contributing to GAINS as an artist and author. Since, 2005 I have had the privileged to study intensively with the always inspiring Daniel Siegel MD. Siegel, Stephen Porges, Allan Schore, and many of the advisory board have had profound influences on my work in my private practice in Santa Monica, California. My Marriage and Family Therapy practice is diverse, and I integrate my background in holistic health, education, mindfulness practices, and creative fields. I specialize in working with individuals and couples in personal and professional relationships; parenting-all types of minds and learners including kids with Asperger, Autism, and ADHD; and treating individuals and families affected by addictive behaviors like problem gambling. In addition, conception is a specialty including fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum health; I am a certified doula and postpartum doula. In 1989, I co-developed groups and clinical applications with John Cogswell PhD on a transpersonal method called Walking-in-Your-Shoes. I have two wonderful children.
