Kirke Olson, Psy.D is a NH Licensed Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide.
Kirke is one of the founding members of GAINS and is currently its president. He has devoted 40+ years to helping teachers, psychotherapists, and family physician residents apply research from interpersonal neurobiology, positive psychology, and mindfulness with their students, clients, patients, and most importantly, with themselves. With his wife, Sher Kamman, PsyD, he is co-owner of Warren Street Family Counseling and The Positivity Company, LLC.
He is author of: The Invisible Classroom: Relationships, Neuroscience, and Mindfulness in Schools published by W. W. Norton & Company. The book was awarded an honorable mention as a favorite book of 2014 by Greater Good at University of California Berkeley and recommended by the Association of College and Research Libraries (A division of the American Library Association).
He is a graduate of Dan Siegel’s MD first IPNB Intensive and a graduate of the first international class on Positive Psychology and Authentic Happiness (Vanguard I) taught by Martin Seligman, Ph.D. and assisted in a subsequent edition of the class.
Kirke holds a Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England; a master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from University of Nebraska (Omaha) and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
