About Me
Rochelle Sharpe Lohrasbe, PhD, RCC, holds a doctorate in Child and Youth Care (UVIC). Beginning with a career in forensic psychiatric nursing (youth and adult settings), she has more than 25 years of clinical experience in the field of traumatic stress and developmental wounding. She earned a Master’s degree in Learning and Development with a special interest in Developmental Psychopathology and Resilience. In her private clinical practice, Dr. Sharpe Lohrasbe sees both children and adults who have experienced abuse, neglect, and other traumatic experiences including attachment rupture and childhood adversity. She is an EMDRIA-approved consultant in EMDR therapy, has facilitated for the DNMS Institute, holds Advanced Certification in Neuroptimal Neurofeedback, and has training in Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Sharpe Lohrasbe holds a faculty position with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute conducting trainings internationally and has also presented at several conferences including EMDR Canada and ISSTD.
