About Me

I earned my degree in counseling from the University of North Texas and have worked as a counselor for 20 years. In 2015, I returned to UNT to start work on my PhD, which I will complete next year. Doctoral work has been an opportunity to explore my interests-neurobiology, play therapy, and child-parent relationships. I work with clients across the lifespan: children, adolescents, and adults. I strive to understand my clients as unique individuals and to use counseling to help them live more fully. Specialties: Neuro-counseling, play therapy, adolescents, child-parent relationship therapy.
