SPI Level I: Training in emotional dysregulation, survival defenses and traumatic memory

Few courses in clinical psychology or therapy teach us how to tap into the wisdom of the body to support therapeutic change. This leaves us, as therapists, necessarily dependent on verbal language. Taking its theoretical roots in neuroscience, attachment theories, cognitive and somatic approaches, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (R) provides professionals with the basic skills and principles necessary to integrate the body into psychotherapy, both as a source of information as a target for intervention.
