About Me

I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and Registered Clinical Counsellor (Masters of Counselling Psychology).  I have a private practice as well as work as a Regional Coordinator & Therapist in the North Island (Vancouver Island, Canada) Eating Disorder Program.  I have completed the three year IPNB certificate program with Dan Siegel and am very excited to begin teaching and writing about what I have learned in my field as well as larger provincial community of mental health professionals. I am commited to  integrating IPNB in my practice of therapy.  Particularly, I am interested in the intersection of IPNB with the Stone Center's Relational Cultural Model - specifically in the field of trauma, eating disorders and chronic illness & pain.  I currently sit on the GAINS Board of Directors. I am currently doing a doctorate in Leadership and Change in Healthcare.
