About Me

In my work as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, specialized in early chronic traumatization, I have benefited from the extensive training in multiple methods (Cognitive behavioral, Group dynamic, Person-centered, sensory motor psychotherapy & EMDR). I enjoy sharing (training, workshops & lectures) everything I’ve learned through the years. While I was living in the US (2010-2014) I expanded my knowledge into the field of Interpersonal Neurobiology and was part of the IPNB Study Group with Dan Siegel. Back in the Netherlands, Europe, I founded the Dutch Institute of IPNB. I think it is for us as clinicians important to ground our wonderful and rewarding work in science.
