The Global Association for Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies (GAINS) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the science, practice, and application of interpersonal neurobiology to promote health and wellbeing. We are an inclusive, international community bringing our understanding of minds, brains, and relationship into healthcare, education, leadership, research, parenting, and more.
At GAINS we promote the application of interpersonal neurobiology's (IPNB's) scientifically grounded principles to the art of human relationships. We envision an awake and compassionate world in which people cultivate a working knowledge of IPNB's principles and apply this knowledge across disciplines and in their personal and professional lives. Ultimately, we seek to nurture meaningful and compassionate connections within ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and our world.
